| So many times we get questions about our judges and what they are looking for when a student comes to audition or interview, in the case of Visual Arts, for the Spotlight Awards. We work very hard to ensure that all of our judges are the right fit for this program. It requires the right mixture of professionalism and the ability to communicate with young artists.
We want students to feel that Spotlight is a way for them to prepare themselves for college and professional interviews. We know how scary it is to walk into a room full of strangers and then have to talk about yourself or perform! We hope to create an environment that is welcoming and the space to learn how to have a successful audition.
